Hands On History

We brought history to life today at Sapperton with the Wilson Gallery. Each class had a hands-on workshop with artefacts from the era they are studying this term: Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and Prehistoric Britain. Maple Class investigated how toys have changed throughout history. Rowan Class explored Stone Age art and Elder Class used Anglo-Saxon and Viking historical sources to learn about the impact of cultural exchange centuries ago.
