The children in Reception have been learning about Raksha Bandhan, a Hindu festival that celebrates the special bond between brothers and sisters, as well as love, care and protection within families.
As part of their learning, each child made a rakhi bracelet. Traditionally, a rakhi is tied around a family member’s wrist as a symbol of love, care and the promise to look after one another.
