Elder Class has launched into Summer Term 1 with energy and creativity, making an exciting start across both Science and Art.
In Science, pupils have been investigating the fascinating question of how we see the world around us. Through hands-on experiments and discussions, they explored the importance of light and discovered that without it, seeing objects would be impossible. The class demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm as they tested ideas and deepened their understanding of how light travels.
Meanwhile, in Art, creativity has been in full flow. Pupils have been designing and constructing impressive 3D sculptures using a range of natural and recycled materials. As part of this project, they have been thinking carefully about how art can represent identity and express the concept of self. Each sculpture will be unique, reflecting individual ideas, personalities, and perspectives.
It has been a fantastic start to the term, with Elder Class showing both scientific curiosity and artistic imagination. We look forward to seeing how their learning continues to grow in the coming weeks!
