We were pleased to welcome Adam, a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), into school to visit Maple and Saplings classes.
During his visit, Adam spoke to the children about his role in the community and the important work he does to help keep people safe. The pupils were fascinated to learn about the different ways he supports the public and works alongside other emergency services.
A particular highlight of the visit was when Adam brought in pieces of his police uniform for the children to try on. This hands-on experience helped bring his role to life and sparked lots of excitement and questions.
The children also had the opportunity to explore Adam’s police car and see the equipment he uses in his day-to-day work. They were especially interested in the various tools and how they are used to help others. To round off the visit, the children were thrilled when Adam switched on the flashing lights and sounded the sirens—an unforgettable end to a fantastic experience.
We would like to thank Adam for taking the time to visit us and inspire our pupils.
