Elder Class have been learning all about the Solar System as part of our Earth and Space science topic. Last week, the children discovered the eight planets that orbit the Sun and learned about their different shapes and relative sizes.
We talked about how some planets are small and rocky, like Earth and Mars, while others are huge gas giants, like Jupiter and Saturn. The class enjoyed comparing the planets and were amazed to learn just how big space really is!
Everyone showed great curiosity and enthusiasm, and we’re looking forward to learning even more about space in the coming weeks. 🚀🌟
