This week, pupils took part in a meaningful hands-on activity as they planted mustard seeds, bringing to life the biblical story of the mustard seed from Matthew 13:32.
As the children carefully sowed their tiny seeds, they reflected on how something so small can grow into something strong and life-giving. In the same way, Jesus’ parable reminds us that faith, even when it begins small, can grow and flourish when it is nurtured with care and hope.
This activity links closely to our school vision to nurture faith and to inspire success. Through planting the seeds, pupils were encouraged to think about their own learning, talents, and faith—understanding that with patience, encouragement, and perseverance, they too can grow and achieve great things.
The experience combined spiritual reflection, and teamwork, giving children the opportunity to connect scripture to real life. As the seeds begin to sprout in the coming weeks, they will serve as a lasting reminder that growth takes time, care, and belief.
By nurturing both faith and curiosity, we continue to support our children as they grow—not only academically, but spiritually and personally—ready to flourish now and in the future.
