Parent Governor vacancy - May 2021
Parent governors are elected by and from the parents of children currently attending our school. They serve a four-year term of office and bring a very important and valued perspective to the work of the governing board. The governing board has a vital role to play in making sure every child receives the best possible education.
Governors at Sapperton Church of England Primary School have three core functions:
- Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
- Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the organisation and its pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff;
- Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent.
We have one vacancy for a parent governor which became available from 24th May 2021 - the relevant information and forms can be viewed and downloaded below (paper copies are available from the school office):
All nominations will need to be with the school (either on paper or electronically) by 12 noon on Monday 7th June 2021.
